Why You'll love it:
Guatemalan coffee is quickly becoming the most respected and desired coffee in Central America. Cerro Grande exhibits the fruity acidity and full-bodied syrupy sweetness that will make Guatemalan coffee your new favorite.
Story of the Bean:
Ivan Ovalle’s great grandfather purchased the family farm in 1957, simply naming it "big hill." Today, Mr. Ovalle works in harmony with the natural world by leaving over 120 acres of forest within the property untouched. Not only does this ensure that the natural environment will remain for future members of Mr. Ovalle’s family, but it also creates the growing conditions that produce the bright citrus and sweet candy flavors of Cerro Grande.
Yes, it’s that good!
We always enjoy trying out the new coffees if for no other reason, than it’s fun to see if we can taste the same notes as described. This coffee was so smooth and delicious, I had to quickly order more before it becomes sold out. Yes, it’s that good!
Great coffee for Turkish style
I have been looking for a great fruity coffee that I could brew Turkish style. This one was a great choice, it produced nice fruity taste (I recommend brewing it with a bit of sugar). If you like Ethiopia Ardi coffee you should like this one too.
A really good brew!
Very smooth! Perfect for those who like a lighter roast. I highly recommend it!
Good, Balanced Coffee
A smooth, pleasant coffee with a good flavor. I never noticed any individual tasting notes that were especially prominent; rather, they all seemed to work together to create an enjoyable roast.
