The Hope & Fury concert series continues on Friday, November 2, with a lively conversation about the upcoming election. The evening will feature a performance from Philly's indie hip-hop and soul band, Hardwork Movement, as well as performances from Stephen Cobb and C. Jae & Armani Lee.

MEET THE BAND
Hardwork Movement is a 9-piece hip-hop group based out of Philadelphia, comprised of 4 MCs backed by a 5-piece live band. The band pairs a cross-genre style of music drawing on hip-hop and neo-soul influences, with an infectiously high-energy live performance. Hardwork has been featured in number of publications including Okayplayer, The Key, and Jump Philly, and has performed all over the country at festivals, venues, and schools such as Xponential Music Festival, SXSW, Firefly Music Festival, Carolina Friends School, St. Francis De Sales and others. They have shared the stage with a number of national and international acts including Talib Kweli, GZA, Method Man and Redman. Hardwork has a passion for inspiring others to reach for their dreams, are committed to building a collaborative community, and feel called to promote positive change here in Philly and beyond.
