WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT:
This limited micro-lot celebrates four years of joining the Haitian coffee community through our 30 acre farm and nursery in Southeast Haiti. The flavors of wild cacao along with bold nut and sweet caramel represent a new level of quality direct from our own academy.
STORY OF THE BEAN:
As Haiti faces great environmental and economic challenges, the Haiti Coffee Academy supports producers through a demonstration farm, nursery, and hands-on training. The farm also acts as a laboratory where four Brazilian coffee plant varieties are tested for their yield, resilience, and quality. This limited release showcases the success of this pilot program as well as the efforts of the men and women dedicated to advancing coffee production in Haiti and ensuring a brighter future for Haiti as a whole.
Fruity and decent smell
This coffee is excellent! It is very delicate and fine tuned in taste, but definitely satisfying as a great cup of coffee. We prefer coffee from Haiti for its delicate and nuanced taste. We also like to support the Haiti Academy and La Colombo in its mission to get Haiti back on its feet and in its rightful place to be a producer of fine coffees.
