Why You’ll Love It: One of Myanmar's highest quality specialty coffees, this offering is naturally processed and dried on raised beds, giving it the tart red fruit flavors of cranberry, sweet chocolate, and nutmeg notes.
Story of the Bean: Cultivating and exporting coffee has enabled Myanmar to participate in the global marketplace and has spurred an ongoing period of democratization. This lot is one of their most prized specialty coffees grown in the village of Min Paung.
The producers of Min Paung harvest tea from March until November, fitting perfectly with the coffee harvest (December to February). The unique flavors present in this coffee speak volumes about this country’s coffee potential and point to a bright future for its producers.
