Why You'll Love It:
A perennial favorite, coffee from Papua New Guinea consistently offers a rich brew showcasing deep caramel flavors balanced with a refreshing light acidity. Eastern Highlands produces a comforting and mellow cup with subtle aromas of berries and stone fruit.
Story of the Bean:
The world has enjoyed almost a century of distinctive and flavorful coffee from the central mountain range of Papua New Guinea. Those highlands support thousands of producers who maintain small coffee gardens consisting of as few as 20 plants. The Arokara Cooperative in the Eastern Highlands is one of the groups collecting cherry from these gardens and ensuring only well-processed high-quality coffee is delivered. This hand-selected lot creates an effervescent cup, sparkling with the light acidity of white grapes balanced by the earthy sweetness of molasses and blackberries.
- La Colombe
So incredibly delicious. No other coffees compare but I’ll keep trying.

Personally it is an amazing afternoon coffee. It is flavorful and light.
Paupau New Guinea
An incredible coffee, love waking up to this exceptionally delicious single origin gem! Well worth your hard earned dollars for a little taste of heaven,
Slightly sweet- very yummy
Surprised but not how I wanted
As typical with all La Colombe coffee, the quality is top notch. Specifically, the notes of Prosecco stood out, but what was surprising was the overwhelming bitterness that lingers at the end. It just wasn’t something I have come to expect with LC coffees and I am not sure if it was because this was just a bad batch or actually how the coffee presents. I won’t say don’t try it, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it if there are other beans you’re wanting to try.
