About Papua New Guinea Groundbreaker
Why You’ll Love It:
From the lush fields of Papua New Guinea, Groundbreaker lives up to its name with every sip. Its chocolatey, fruity taste captures the spirit of its home, where great coffee travels across untouched terrain and deep oceans to bring unforgettable flavor to your cup.
Story of the Bean:
Groundbreaker is produced in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea at the Baroida Estate. The estate is owned and operated by Nichol Colbran, whose family has cultivated coffee there since the 1960s. This coffee grows at high altitude, which makes the cherries develop slowly, resulting in increased acidity and fruity flavors. At Baroida, they are masters of processing and this washed process lot is a shining example of their craft.
