Why You'll love it:
A highly advanced sorting and drying process creates this coffee of unparalleled clarity and complexity. Dynamic herbal aromas and sweet cherry-like acidity are balanced by notes of caramelized sugar in a harmonious unity of flavor.
Story of the Bean:
In the early 1930's, Rwandan coffee focused on producing low quality beans at a high volume. After the Rwandan genocide of 1994, as the war-torn nation began to rebuild, producers moved from rudimentary coffee drying to centralized washing stations to improve quality. Today, Rwandan Bourbon is recognized globally for its refined complexity and depth of flavor. This selection produces a refreshing rush of berry sweetness in an elegant full body.
Rwandan coffee is my favorite coffee by far.
