I first tried espresso at La Columbe back in the Fall of 2021 while on business in Philadelphia. I found the coffee to be strong, rich and robust without any bitterness. After purchasing the capsules for my Nespresso machine, i was hoping for similar results. Unfortunately I found were these to be quite weak and watered down, despite a few attempts to cut short the shot. Very disappointed

Taste better than any I have tired from Nespresso. Only thing would be for La Colombe to add their recommended fl oz. I believe Nespresso machines have Espresso at 40 ml/1.35 fl oz and a Lungo at 110 ml / 3.72 fl oz. Would be nice to see what the recommendations from La Colombe for their capsules.

Disappointed that it did not taste like La Colombe. It has no crema, it's watery and not the rich taste expected with an espresso. Taste more like a bland coffee and not even the good La Colombe coffee.

So happy I can now make la colombe espresso at home with ease! I'd buy every roast in these capsules.
