SPARKING CHANGE
Our founders Todd Carmichael and J.P. Iberti built La Colombe on a simple but ambitious mission: to make the world better through coffee. What started out as a vision for serving the best coffee to the country, became an opportunity to influence meaningful change around the world. This is how we plan to make a difference.
STANDING FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
We believe in a more compassionate world. In advocating for organizations and causes that do good, day-in and day-out. Through initiatives like our long-term support of coffee farmers in Haiti, advocacy for our National Parks, and emergency funding for school lunches, Todd and JP have shown a commitment to championing causes that make a tangible difference in as many lives as possible.
EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITIES
We believe that people come first. Todd and JP’s mission is to build, strengthen, and heal communities in the US and across the globe through positive practices and meaningful investment. Whether hosting socially-conscious community events like our Hope and Fury concert series or lending our voice to causes like International Women’s Day and LGBTQ+ Pride, we strive to use our influence to further the shared values of our community.
CARING FOR OUR PLANET
We believe in leaving a better world for our kids. Sustainability is top of mind in our cafes, roasting and warehouse facilities, and at the source of coffee in parts of the world that are currently being hardest hit by climate change. Through sustainable packaging, environmentally-friendly practices, and direct sourcing Todd and JP aim to create a better world by eliminating waste and improving the wellbeing of coffee-growing communities with positive business practices.
