What Makes Coffee Beans High Quality?

High quality coffee beans start long before roasting. Where the beans are grown, how they're processed, and how precise they’re roasted are all important. We source specialty-grade beans, among the highest quality coffee available, and roast them properly to bring out their best flavor.

The biggest factor most people overlook is freshness. Every coffee bag we sell is roasted in-house, never shipped from a third-party roaster, so you receive coffee at its freshest.

Whole Bean vs. Ground

Whole bean coffee retains its freshness and flavor longer because it's only exposed to air once it's ground. Since grinding increases the coffee's surface area, those aromas and flavors begin to fade more quickly. That's why we offer whole beans as our default option, for the freshest possible cup.

If you prefer ground, many of our coffees are also available pre-ground. Simply select the ground option on the product page.
