This is an excellent, full-bodied medium roast coffee. It works great by itself, or, in my case, I use it as a base with another flavored blend. This makes an excellent combination of two great coffees coming together to product a great full flavor coffee every time.

Surprise!
I use a cheap blade type electric grinder that doesn't grind finely. Because of it, when I saw pieces of dried up bugs, (presumably embedded in roasted beans ) I was really surprised. I had never seen dried up, roasted bugs in coffee.
I know it's not your fault but now every time I grind these beans I wonder whether I will see such things again!
Otherwise, Lyon has a very light feel and flavor as advertised.

Rich, indulgent and chocolate finish, recommend to all.
Smooth, creamy and chocolate finish, this is a great blend and one of my all time favorites. I’ve repurchased again and again, and recommend this one to all. Very indulgent and rich blend of coffee.

3 month Old Coffee
I just got 2 bags of Lyon with best by 9/11/2026 which means a roasted on about 6 months prior or 3/11/2026 or 3 month old coffee. If I wanted old coffee I’d go to the supermarket. Sorry I’m going to support local roasters.
