Peppermint Mocha ingredients
1. Add grounds to Aeropress
Set Aeropress up for inverted method & put grounds in.
2. Saturate ground
Start a timer for 1 minute, pour hot water quickly over grounds & using a spoon, stir grounds to evenly saturate everything.
3. Place filter & cap
Put the metal filter in Aeropress filter cap - using a metal filter allows more oils to come through in the cup for a fuller bodied coffee that is closer to a true espresso!
4. Strain coffee into mug
At the 1 minute mark, place mug on top of aeropress, flip over & immediately press down.
5. Add flavor to coffee
Add 1/2 oz of peppermint syrup & 1 oz of chocolate sauce to the mug of coffee.
6. Add milk & garnish
Steam & pour milk into the mug, then a candy cane garnish! You can crumble it up and stick to the sides of the mug with chocolate sauce.
